Sarah Bromley

Sarah lives near St. Louis with her husband, three children, and three dogs. She likes the quiet hours of morning when she can drink coffee in peace, stare into the woods behind her house, and wonder what monsters live there. When she’s not writing or wrangling small children, she can be found volunteering at a stable for disabled riders. Rin Chupeco

rinchupeco Despite an unsettling resemblance to Japanese revenants, Rin always maintains her sense of hummus. Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, she keeps four pets: a dog, two birds, and a husband. Her work, The Girl from the Well, is a YA psychological horror novel due out in Fall 2014, pitched as “Dexter” meets “The Grudge”. Mary Crockett

Mary’s debut novel DREAM BOY is about the aftermath of dreams and the desire to figure out how you fit into the puzzle of your own life. It’s also about cute guys, epic kisses, and the mystical power of a really awesome pair of shoes. A native of the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Mary grew up as the youngest of six children in a family of misfits. She has worked as everything from a history museum director to a toilet seat hand model. Lindsay Currie

lindsaycurrie Lindsay lives in Chicago, Illinois with one incredibly patient hubby, three amazing kids and one adorable, but irreverent Bullmastiff named Sam.She is a proud member of SCBWI, The American Horror Writers Association, The YA Scream Queens and OneFourKidLit, a community of authors with debuts upcoming in 2014. Her debut novel, CREED (co-authored with Trisha Leaver), releases from FLUX in Fall of 2014. She is represented by Kathleen Rushall, of Marsal Lyon Literary Agency.

Skylar Dorset

Skylar is a native Rhode Islander who fully believes that the best type of ice cream shake is called a cabinet (and she prefers a chocolate one). Boston gave her a degree in English (from Boston College), a degree in law (from Harvard), and the setting for her first novel, THE GIRL WHO NEVER WAS, about a teenager who finds out she’s half-faerie-princess and half-ogre. Christina Farley

Christina was born and raised in upstate New York. As a child, she loved to explore, which later inspired her to jump on a plane and travel the world. She taught at international schools in Asia for ten years, eight of which were in the mysterious and beautiful city of Seoul, Korea that became the setting of GILDED. Currently she lives in Clermont, FL with her husband and two sons—that is until the travel itch whisks her off to a new unknown. She is represented by the black-belt of an agent, Jeff Ourvan of the Jennifer Lyons Literary Agency, LLC. GILDED is her first novel. christinafarley

Stefanie Gaither

stefaniegaither After owning and co-managing a coffee shop for several years while simultaneously earning her B.A. in English, Stefanie left the small business world behind to focus on her author career instead. Now, in addition to penning YA novels, she also works part-time as a copywriter for an advertising agency. Stefanie is represented by Sara Megibow of Nelson Literary, and her debut novel, FALLS THE SHADOW— a sci-fi thriller filled with clones, murder, and sibling love and loathing–, will be published by Simon and Schuster in September of 2014. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and an incredibly spoiled Shih Tzu.


KT Hanna

K.T. Hanna is an Australian expat who lives in Kansas (long story), with her husband, baby girl, two corgis and mellow cat. She’s a binge writer, who edits ruthlessly. Dictionaries are her nemesis as singular words inspire plot bunnies. She writes science fiction, fantasy and horror for MG, YA and adult. Kate Hattemer

The oldest of eight siblings, Kate grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Yale and taught high-school Latin in Virginia before returning to Cincinnati, where she now works at an independent bookstore. The Vigilante Poets of Selwyn Academy, out in April 2014 from Knopf, is a contemporary YA novel about reality TV, an arts school, Ezra Pound, and a heroic gerbil. In spring 2015, Knopf will publish her second novel, The Land of Ten Thousand Madonnas. katehattemer

Trisha Leaver

trishaleaver Trisha lives on Cape Cod – the land of sandy beaches and perpetual tourists – with her husband, three children, and one rather excitable black lab. She spent all of her childhood living inside her own mind, creating characters and stories that only a child’s imagination could dream up. She now spends her days breathing life into those characters, writing realistic fiction and psychological horror young adults. Her YA Psychological Horror, CREED (co-authored) is coming fall of 2014 from Flux. SISTERS SECRETS KEEP, her YA contemporary, is coming winter of 2015 from FSG/ Macmillan. She is represented by the amazing Kevan Lyons at Marsal Lyon Literary.

Monica Ropal

monicaropal Monica lives in friendly Minnesota with her husband and three children–to whom she lovingly refers as her three-ring circus. In addition to writing and playing ringmaster, she works part-time as a Hospice Nurse. Her debut contemporary YA When You Leave will be released with Running Press on April 7, 2015.

AdriAnne Strickland

AdriAnne shares a home base in Alaska with her husband, but has spent two cumulative years living abroad in Africa, Asia, and Europe. While writing occupies most of her time, she commercial fishes every summer in Bristol Bay, because she can’t seem to stop.
